An extended editorial committee worked on Museum Frictions: Public Cultures/Global Transformations, the book that resulted from the July 2002 Museums and Global Public Spheres conference. Museum Frictions is currently in press with Duke University Press, and will be published in 2006. The editorial group met immediately after the conference to begin defining the volume's structure and production schedule. The editorial committee consists of (left to right) Ciraj Rassool, Lynn Szwaja, Corinne Kratz, Ivan Karp, Tomás Ybarra-Frausto, Gustavo Buntinx, and Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett.
